My Car Was STOLEN!!!!!
Remember...Karma is a BITCH!!
The big problem with the whole thing is that I have to consider it a TOTAL loss. Full coverage
on a 24 year old car is laughable. Insurance companies won`t do it. So then you have to get
Antique Insurance. Must be garage kept, LIMITED miles, and you need full coverage on your
other car which you must have one of! I drive my damn car to work and have no garage! How can
I meet that criteria? I will not own a trailer queen and visit it at the warehouse on weekends
and rub it with a diaper!!!! So if I get my car back in any condition, I will be very pleased. But
I don`t see that happening. So basically I`m screwed. SHOULDA GOT LOJAK!!!!!!
On Friday, Nov 14 at about 9 PM, my Camaro was stolen.
RECOVERED!!!!!!
Well I got my car back. No motor/ tranny/ driveshaft/ battery/ radiator/ radio/ gauges or
headers. Broke the steering column, dug out the trunk lock, cracked the nose piece, crunched the
lower valance and put a big dent in the driver door. Oh, and it was found with no wheels on it
sitting on a couple of plantain boxes!!!!! The wiring was all hacked up, and they destroyed my
center console. It was found 2 days after it was stolen, and I am relieved to have gotten the body
back in good condition. All I have to say is this, thieves, Karma is a BITCH!
This is all just a sad memory. I rebuilt the Camaro and I have been driving it pretty consistently
ever since!
