What`s New for 2000
Update!
Well it`s the year 2000! Hope you all were not as sick as I was on the first.....
Things have been happening. Moved out of the big wharehouse back into the small one I was in before. Been
working on both cars, don`t want either of them to be jelous! The 73 has had the seats recovered in the original 73
LT covers, very comfortable! I have also finished the AC system, using parts from mostly the 79 model year, with 70
wiring and custom hoses to hook it all together. A very nice job on the hoses from Koolman Auto Air, INC. (954)
584-0505. Got the cowl hood painted and all the damage from the theft fixed. Tightened up the front end a bit, new
center link and tightened up the upper A-arm bolts, getting rid of that damn clunk! Still need a front end re-build, but
not until the 70 runs.
The 70 is a rolling chassis. The body is in primer, all the front end metal is lined up, and the hood is on. The interior is
complete, the interior wiring and gauges are all hooked up. Underhood wiring is ready, battery is in the trunk with
cutoff switch. The 4:10 posi rear has been outfitted with disc brakes from a 79 Cadillac. Details coming soon.... The 4
wheel disc manual brakes are on and bled, and manual steering doesn`t rob any HP! The motor and tranny work
starts soon. I have almost all the pieces I need so I will be assembling the motor soon!
